On Wednesday 20th December, the Axentis Michael Charity Trust, in collaboration with The Grand Pier, brought the magic of Christmas to young patients at Bristol Royal Hospital for Children.
Accompanied by team members from the Grand Pier, the mischievous Mr. Grinch visited the hospital wards spreading joy and laughter to the 170 children and their families spending Christmas in hospital.
The Grinch spent time with each of the young patients and their families and delivered carefully selected gifts to each of the children.
Helen Haskell, Head of Corporate Fundraising at The Grand Appeal, the Bristol Children's Hospital Charity said:
"It was wonderful to welcome The Grinch to Bristol Children's Hospital in December; he was very mischievous and kept the patients and staff very entertained!"
"We are hugely grateful to the Axentis Michael Charity Trust for funding the visit and for their generous donation of presents. The visit provided so much Christmas cheer for the children and their families who sadly had to spend Christmas in hospital. Gestures like this mean the world to everyone at the hospital, not least our young patients".
